When: Wednesday, March12th (5-9pm) on premise qualifying with playoffs immediately following. Pre-qualifying goes from March 4-11. On premise qualifying is in person and qualifying games must start by 8:50pm.
Details:
Pinball Tournament for Stern Pinball swag, prizes, IFPA ranking points, and an exclusive Insider Connected Lauch Party digital achievement badge! There will be plaques for the top 4 finalists, as well as a translite and additional prizes!
Qualify: There will be a specific Insider Connected qualifying that begins March 4 at 4pm, ending on March 11 at midnight. Top 4 scores of individuals that show up for the launch party will be qualified for playoffs! Day of qualifying - every player can play as often as time allows during Launch party qualifying, with a FREE first game! In order to play, a participant must place their name on the list and are asked to cue and be ready to play when it is their turn. Your score is recorded after playing by another participant or TD and verified by you. If all participants in attendance/in cue at any given time have already played once, then they are allowed to play additional qualifying attempts (Players responsibility to Void/cross out any score that is lower; players should place name on 2nd attempts list in order to re-cue and please only place name on 2nd attempts after you complete your current attempt is complete). Priority of play is given to any players that have not yet played their 1st attempt, so they will be bumped to the front of the line for all players waiting to play their 2nd+ attempts. Highest score for each player at the end of qualifying is used to determine the final 1-4 Seeds, or your final position.
Playoff format:
Pre qualifiers and launch day qualifiers will play separate 4-player games head to head on Dungeons & Dragons. Pre qualifiers that show up will be placed into the pre qualifier group if they earn both pre qualifier and on premise qualifying. Player position on all games for playoff rounds selected with priority given higher to lower seed. Play position will be maintained for the entire playoff match. When games are open and available for play, each playoff group is required to efficiently play through all games (i.e. multiple games being played simultaneously). Top 2 players from each group advance to finals round. If there is a tie after all games, the player with the higher score on Dungeons & Dragons in that playoff round advances.
Final round: The remaining 4 players will play one 4-player game on Dungeons & Dragons as the final game for final position.
Prizes:
1st place will receive a Grand Champion plaque, and 2nd-4th receiving plaques as well! There will also be a Translite given away thanks to Stern Pinball! In addition, EVERYONE that participates will have IFPA fees covered by Madison Pinball!
